I am very interested in becoming a collegiate student-athlete who is challenged both in the classroom and on the field. I strive to be the best version of myself each and every day. I have recently completed an AP class, two college classes and am enrolled at the Central Virginia Governors School for Science and Technology. My academic goals are to graduate High School with a GPA above 4.0 and an SAT Score at or above 1400. Graduating in the top 10 of my class, which consists of 330 students, is also an achievable goal with continued dedication and perseverance. My long-term goal is to pursue a degree(s) in Engineering and/or Mathematics which will result in a career that allows me to be creative, innovative, and inspiring.
I have played football for 11 seasons and soccer for 13. My teams have been very good some years and not very good others. I have learned throughout my time in athletics that a higher level of growth results from losing more than it does from winning. Losing drives you to work harder and become better in every aspect that you can. Athletics have certainly taught me the virtues of discipline, teamwork, self-motivation, and getting the best out of your teammates. I understand that I will not always be the biggest, fastest, or strongest, but I refuse to ever be outworked. I greatly appreciate the time you took to review my profile and look forward to hearing from you.
