My goal is to play football in college, and to earn my degree in Business. I stand out because I am like a sponge and absorb every bit of information and skill training given to me by the coaches. All my coaches have always used the term "coachable" when they talk about me. I feel that my passion for the sport, and my desire to learn will be an asset to the team. I like criticism because it helps me improve on my weaknesses. When you admit that you don't know it all, and accept help from those more knowledgeable is when you will grow and get better. This isn't only on the football field, but in life. My academic scores do not reflect my ability in the classroom. There have been some challenges that caused disruptions in my learning, but I am back on track and am having a great senior year. I have been putting in the effort and my academic scores reflect that so far. My teammates like me not only because I am a good player, but also because I keep them laughing. I know how to be tough when needed, but enjoying getting not only my teammates, but my coaches to smile. It might be strange to say since I'm a 17 year old who lives on his phone. But sometimes, I don't feel like I'm truly "seen" because everything is done through videos, emails, and social media. If you meet me, and especially see me play in person, I know that you will want to give me a chance.
