My name is Chloe Dupuis, and I am an Outside Hitter for the Poquoson High Class of 2021. I started playing volleyball when I was 9 years old and have loved it since I started. I knew when I first started playing that I had found my sport and passion. Each time I step onto the court I am not only playing to make myself better but also my team. I am a versatile volleyball player being able to play any position my coach places me in.
During my first year playing High School Volleyball on the JV team for Poquoson High School I earned “MVP” for the Endless Summer Tournament which was held in Virginia Beach.
In 2018 I tried out for and was selected to represent the Old Dominion Region and play for the USAV’s High Performance team which competed in Tulsa, OK.
At the end of my sophomore year of high school I was placed on the Second Team All-Region and as captain my junior year I was placed on the First Teams All-Region and Second Team All-State.
I am in my Junior year of high school and continuing my goals and passions for pursuing my volleyball career beyond high school as well as pursuing my academic goals in the medical field. I am an AP and Honors student just completing my first semester of my junior year with a 3.8 GPA. I love to compete at the highest level at all times and also want to be academically challenged in both math and science. When I’m not in school I’m either studying, practicing or working out with my personal trainer. In my spare time I’m helping the youth programs for parks and recreation to help grow the game of volleyball, while also interning at a Pediatrics office and shadowing an Orthopedic surgeon. I also work in the daycare center for Coastal Community Church. I have always balanced my time well while also pushing myself to succeed on and off the court.
