I love the game of football because it demands my respect, but also shares life lessons that allow me to grow as a young man. Football has taught me that hard work pays off, which motivates me to live my life with high expectations to exceed and contribute on the field, in the community and in the classroom. I look forward to attending a college that demands my highest effort in the classroom, that matches what I exert on the field. I feel the importance of becoming a strong individual was taught through football, and helped me to lead when times get rough, and to overcome any obstacle. The game of football allows me to continue my growth as a contributing adult in society, because of the lessons on the field that continue teach me how to handle failure and turn it into success. Football has taught me leadership that I show by the trust I give to teammates and the motivation I exhibit to win the game. Football makes me manage time and find ways to contribute back to society. Academics are extremely important to me. I feel that for me to get somewhere in life, excelling as a student is very important and that football is my guide that will get me to the college that is right for me.
