James Peckham '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi,
My name is James Peckham. I'm a offensive and defensive linemen for Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett, Washington. Im  6'4 and weigh around 270. I'm not the fastest or strongest linemen but I do have have explosion, strength and the aggressiveness to play down in the trenches. I have been playing football since the 7th grade and in 8th grade was named best linemen on the team. Since being in high school I have been on scout team (freshman/sophomore year) and starting (junior year) varsity for a very successful football team finishing 3rd in state (freshman/sophomore year) and second this last year as a junior. I can offer a lot to a team as I'm a good team player and I realize it's not about me but the team, and also the drive as I have always had the aspirations to play college ball. I would like to stay in the west because it's where my family is and I love it here but if the right college comes around and I love the school then that might change, as I'm open to all types of schools private or public, Catholic or Luthern doesn't matter but I would like to major in physical therapy. My goals going into college is to maybe get some playing time freshman year and by my senior year take the football program to the top, with hard work and dedication.
