Noah Samsen '16 Recruiting Profile

Football has taught me many things over the years, but the most important thing that I've learned is that hard work will always pay off. I apply this ideal to every aspect of my life. I work hard in the classroom and I get good grades because of it. I have a 3.85 cumulative GPA and I scored a 1900 on my first try at the SAT this March. I work hard in the weight room and it shows in my lifts. At 5' 10" 185 lbs. I can bench 245 lbs., clean 285 lbs., and squat 425 lbs. I work hard on the field and that is shown through a variety of examples. As a Junior I was nominated 2nd Team AP All State WR, 1st Team Tacoma News Tribune All Area, and Narrows League Offensive MVP. As a sophomore starting both ways my team made it to the State Playoffs and my team returned to State the following year, my junior season. My leadership is present on and off the field as well as I was a team captain as a junior and I was again voted team captain for my senior year. In my eyes all of these qualities are what make a great football player at any level, youth, high school, college and beyond. Whatever school I end up playing with after I graduate will see my attributes of hard work and dedication come to fruition with a spot in their football program.
