Joseph Hunt '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Joseph Hunt. I am a 6'3, 215 pound Senior who wants nothing more than to play college football. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY AWARDS (Athletic History) AND PRESS LINKS SECTIONS. I've received a lot of recognition this season. I plan to use my athletic ablility to gain an education. I have been an offense/defense starter on the Kamiakin Braves varsity football team since I was a Sophmore, playing DE, TE, OT, Punter and Special Teams. I like all the postions, but Defensive End is by far the position that I am most passionate about on the gridiron. I'm also playing offensive tackle and punter. My most prestigious individual  accomplishment was being awarded 1st String All State Def. Lineman.  I was also honored with Defensive Player of the Year for my conference, Offensive Lineman of the Year and 1st Team All Area and All Conference on both offense and defensive lines.   I believe that I can offer a team speed off the edge and a never say die attitude to my teammates.  Our team is currently 25-2 over the last two seasons.  I also rec'd. the WIAA Sportsmanship Award at the end of our Semi-Final game.  I am motivated and goal oriented.  I will be in the 235/240 lb. range by August, 2012.  I get up very early three days a week and workout before school at a downtown gym.  I have a trainer/coach who is helping me gain strength, size and agility. I personally pay for the training, not my parents.  I've been a Team Captain this year and I enjoy being a leader.  
I am open to going to school anywhere and at any level. My family would very much appreciate some financial aid. I plan on majoring in business marketing, but things can always change.  If you are interested in my academic accomplishments and honors, please check out my academic data and transcripts.  I've had straight A's for the last two semesters and my GPA is 3.66.  
Lastly, my athletic goal is to play somewhere where I am comfortable and believe that I belong. I intend to make an immediate, positive impact on the team I play for.
