My goal as a Student Athlete is to be the best version of myself that I can be, earn a Structural Engineering Degree while playing college football. I have played football for 5 years and have maintained a 3.52 GPA or higher. For the past 2.5 years I have worked out year round in the gym and on the field. Season 2022, I was Team Captain and I earned 2 Varsity Starting Positions: Wide Receiver and Safety. During the2022 season, my coach asked me to learn the Outside Linebacker position. I did and Started Varsity Outside Linebacker and continued Starting as Wide Receiver. I will always jump in to better my team and myself. In fact, one of my coaches said something that has stuck with me; he said "How you do small things is how you do all things." That has helped me understand while learning a new skill, breaking down the steps into “small things” builds a sustainable foundation to achieve the skillset.
I am a good fit for your college because I am a high GPA Student-Athlete striving to perform at the next level. To learn how to perform at the next level and to understand more about myself, I took the TAP assessment January 10, 2023. I found out my Primary Athlete Type is Eagle and Secondary Athlete Type is Rocket. I scored Elite in Coachability, Mental Toughness, and Mental Execution. My ability to work well with others, cooperate, stay cool under pressure and push hard to accomplish goals are a good fit for your team. I will always give 110% effort in anything I do to get the best possible outcome to the situation.
