I'm a senior at Heritage High school and I've played football here the last four years. Another sport I compete in at Heritage is track. Freshmen and Sophomore year I ran 300 hurdles (41.24). Junior year and currently, I'm throwing Javelin. Last year I was fortunate to compete at the state meet finishing 10th (175' 5"). I was honored to receive two significant awards from my team, "MVP" (Soph. Year) and "Leader of the Pack" (Senior).
As a sophomore I was fortunate to be a part of the Varsity team. I wanted to show that I could play as a sophmore, so I worked really hard every minute to show the coaches I could be on that field at any time in whatever position they felt was needed. I continued to work hard and was soon playing on defense as the Strong Safety. I was fortunate to make it as a starter. With continued hard work I started playing as running back. I continued to work hard in the off season and during workouts and was named starting Quarterback my Junior year. Lots of roll outs, read options and quick passes. Just my style. At the end of the year I received team "offensive player of the year" and "honorable mention QB" for our league, Greater St. Helen's league. Senior year arrives and I'm told I'm playing athlete because that is what my team needs. Running, catching, throwing, blocking and tackling. I was on Special Teams, returning all kicks. Big work load some may say but I was ready for it all. I have a strong determination and passionate mentality. I am a great leader. I am very coachable and will do whatever is it that my coach/team needs from me. I am very passionate about football. I have been playing since the age of 7. I will continue to learn and get better.
My main goal in college is to further my education and graduate with a meaningful and marketable degree to become successful in life. With that I wish to play college ball to improve my skill level and to help the program I play for.
