I am a junior in high school who is looking to be the best person I can be and the best player I can be. Ever since I was a young boy watching the fútbol stars on television, I knew I wanted to grow up and look up to these stars. For the last 11 years of my life I have been putting my heart into the game and I am not ready to let go. As a teammate I always look for the best option and do whatever is best for my team that will get us the win. Although, there will be times I make the wrong decision, I put my head back up and try again. My goal is to get to college and be the only one in my family to reach this feat and represent them in a great way.
As I am a junior I have to focus on my grades because my parents always taught me that if I do not have an education I will not be able to grow and learn as I turn into a young adult. Right now my grades could not be better, having a 4.0, but I cannot stop there. I have to continue this to become the best of myself that I can be. Which is the same quote I use for practice.
Practice is the one place where I believe I am free. Practice for me is where I can improve as a soccer player. I will always give 100 percent in practice because it is the thing I love to do. As Ray Bradbury said " Do what you love" and I want to do what I love at the next level, the collegiate level.
