Personal Statement

I have been playing football since I was 6 years old. I admit there was a period where football was not always my first choice.  But the older I got the more I fell in love with Football.  Maybe it was all of my family’s influences.  Maybe it had finally sunk in that football prepares you for life better than any other sport.  Whatever it was at that time I gained that burning desire to play football then and at the next level.

I am always working on ways to improve myself both on and off the field. I am usually the first at practice to watch film and talk with my coaches and usually the last to leave so that receivers and I can get those last reps of the day.  I train my body and brain to get bigger, smarter, faster and stronger. I always try to lead by example and encourage my teammates to always give their best. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the smartest, hardest working players on and off the field.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA in both my core classes and electives. I currently have a 3.93 cumulative GPA but my goal by senior year is to increase it as far as I can.  I also volunteer at local youth camps and help in coaching youth at sports in our community. I am striving to become a member of my schools student council and inter-act club.

I want to attend a college where I can excel in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college matches my educational needs as well as the highest level of competition possible on the field. I feel that I am good role model to youth in my home town and all my peers. I love the support my community give me and I hope to make my school, my town, my county and my state proud of the person and player I become. Ultimately I wish to make my parents proud and give back some of what of they have gave and taught me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
