College Bio:
I spent two years as a member of the Radford Mens Soccer program (D1.) I received a medical redshirt (hamstring - fully recovered now) my second year and so I have a minimum of 3 years of remaining elibility.
I have proven that I have the ability to be a successful student athlete (3.8 GPA) on and off the field. I am thankful for my time at Radford University and am looking forward to finding a program that fits my style of play.
Highschool Senior Bio:
WV Player of The Year -
My dominant foot is left but I am am very comfortable with my right. I feel like I have the unique combination of being both extremely technical and physical. I have good size and very good speed. I have the fasted 20 time in my USL Academy. Generally, I am a good athlete (I play basketball, snowboard etc.) I pride myself on my athleticism and college coaches have recognized it as a key attribute of mine as they have started to recruit me. My Academy's much respected Director of Sports Science had this to say about my athletic attributes:
“Bubby is one of the most dynamic athletes in our entire Academy. He has the fastest 20 yd dash (Freelap, electronic) and top 5 in vertical leap (Just Jump contact pad, electronic.) He has fantastic lateral/multi-directional movement capabilities as well. Bubby is pure class. Respectful, attentive and extraordinarily diligent in all of his efforts.”
Mike Whiteman, Director of Sports Science, Pittsburgh Riverhounds
I have played at the highest club level possible and in the biggest events all over the country so I am fully prepared to take the next step. My current USL Academy team plays in the boys ECNL and are pushing me to that next level as I play against some of the top academy teams in the country. I have been called into our clubs USL Championship first team this summer to train.
I work very hard on becoming as consistent as I can with my play, my diet and off the field gym training.
I have captained my high school team for two years and to two state championships. I was voted the WV State AA/A Player of the year in 2021. I hold my schools career goals record (held previously by a current WVU starter and all-conference player.) Having mentioned 'myself' alot, I think its important to note that I am unselfish and very much a team player. I am extremely confident that my teammates and coaches would agree.
I am devote a Catholic and so my faith is a big part of my success and life.
