My name is Israel Canterbury and I'm a 5'11" extremely motivated football player with a current GPA of 4.0. I'm dedicated to my favorite sport of football. I am a quarterback and I understand the game of football. My most recent accomplishment was being picked to play in the 14u Youth Pro-Bowl game January 27, 2018.
Knowing that I have a chance at playing football in college has continually increased my passion for this sport. I have just completed my last year of middle school football where I was the captain/quarterback and led my team in winning a county championship title. This type of leadership role is quickly preparing me to step up and be the leader of my High School and eventually college team. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am committed to film study and individual coaching long after my team has left the field.
When it comes to choosing what school, I would like to go to, my options are very big. I mainly am looking at east coast states (West Virginia, North and South Carolina Georgia, Florida etc.) but I am very open to going anywhere. If I can receive a good education and play football I will be happy. After my playing years, my goal is to eventually coach football at the college level.
