Winning was not a tradition from where I'm from. Turning our previous 3-5 season as a junior to an 8-1 record as a senior was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel I could not have done it without my team. I developed most into the player I am today due to the opportunities my coaches had offered. In my sophomore year the grind became real, my days consisted of morning lifts with my offensive line coach Ray Ball and my defensive coordinator Mike Kruis. The experience helped me grow as a person as well as leading me to find focus in my life and prioritize my own efforts of doing my 1/11th to the best of my capability.
I was fortunate enough to be part of a hardworking team. In the effort to turn our program, I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, and leadership in the year we weren't eligible for playoffs. I'm looking for a school that would be a good fit academically as well as athletically. I believe I not only have the competitiveness to compete at the next level, but I also believe I have the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program.
