Personal Statement

I am Wyatt Franzen and I am a senior at Antigo High School.  I am 6'3" and weigh 280 pounds.  My positions are defensive tackle and offensive guard and tackle.  I earned second team all conference honors for defensive line as a junior.  I have been a starter on varsity since my sophomore year.  I have also participated in track and field for the last couple of years.  I was nominated a co-captain as a junior and also earned second team all conference honors for discus.

The Dave Brandt youth football league is where i started playing football in the fourth grade.  I have volunteered as a referee for the youth league since i was a sophomore.   Also I volunteered at our local youth football camp with some of the other seniors this past summer.

I have a 3.3 grade point average.  This year I am taking all weighted classes including AP classes because I wanted to make sure I had a rigorous schedule to prepare myself for college classes.  My goal is to find a college that is the right fit for me athletically as well as academically.  I want to better myself and prepare for a future beyond football.  The field of physics is  what I am interested in pursuing in college.

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.  If you have any questions you can contact my head coach, Matt Weberpal at 715-216-4870 or at his email [email protected] .
