My name is Ben Burgess & I'm from Baraboo, WI. My primary position is a running / half back, however, I fill many roles on my team including punter, receiver, outside linebacker and even QB. I would like to pursue a career in prosthetic & orthotic design with a focus in exercise science & kinesiology.
I am a hard worker, always giving 110% of myself to everything I do - whether it's football, in the classroom or the other sports I play. I earned my black belt in karate by 7th grade and use the skills I learned to remain focused and coachable. I bring passion to my team and enjoy watching them succeed as it makes our team the best we can be. I'm a three-sport athlete, also competing in: track & field (sprint, relays & discus), basketball, and swam my junior year. Football is my true passion and I look forward to the day I can play at the college-level.
In my free time, I enjoy lifting, fishing, hunting & camping with my family. I am a Red Cross certified Lifeguard & Wisconsin certified basketball referee - both of which are the my summer jobs to save money for school.
