Personal Statement

Ever since I first stepped on a football field back in 5th Grade, I knew it was my true passion. As time went on I learned that nothing would come easy, and the only way to get better was to put in countless hours of hard work, and to have the determination to be great.

I am a class of 2014 QB who has worked in a no huddle, spread formation, pistol set, option offense for the last 3 years. With this offense I am asked to make quick, definitive decisions on each play. My coaches have also given me the freedom to audible in and out of plays based on the defense’s alignment, which has certainly helped expand my knowledge on all sorts of defensive sets.

This past season was one of the best years in our school’s history. We went on to win our first conference championship since 1984. We were able to go undefeated in arguably the most competitive conference in the state of Wisconsin. This shows that I know what it takes to win, and being very competitive by nature I would always embrace being a part of a winning program.

With all of this being said, I also take pride in my work inside of the classroom. My cumulative GPA is currently at 3.55 and is on the rise. As much as I would love to go to a great football school, I would also love to attend a strong academic institution.

I would like to play at the highest-level possible, however I would cherish the opportunity to continue growing as a player and individual wherever that may be. I would also fully dedicate my heart and skills to the University both on the field and in the classroom.
