Toby Luedtke '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Toby Luedtke and I am a 6’1” 205lb flex tight end.  I was raised in a military family where we moved around a lot due to my fathers assignments.  Growing up in a military family taught me respect, resiliency, and inner drive.  These traits have helped me on and off the football field.  My love for football grew as soon as I was able to participate on a youth flag football team when I was 7.  Ever since my freshman season, my team was able to reach the playoffs; something that hasn’t been done in over 20 years.  I bring lots of energy and commitment to the game.  I like to compete in everything I do on and off the field.  Many things I have learned on the field have transferred into my academics, allowing me to achieve a high honor roll student since my freshman year.  I really want to continue to competitively play football at the collegiate level.  I feel my motivation and love for the game would blend well with any football program.
