Davis Heinzen '20 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I began playing contact football in 5th grade for the Manitowoc Chiefs, I have dreamed about played high school and college football.  I am a sports fanatic and love to follow college and professional sports, especially football and basketball.  I have an excellent work ethic and am not afraid to work hard to improve my skills, strength and speed.  

On several occasions, I have been told by my coaches that I am one of the most coach-able athletes that they have ever had.  For me, this is one of the best compliments that I can receive.  Despite my success on the football field and on the basketball court, I am committed to remaining humble and supporting my teammates and coaches at all times.  

Off the field, I maintain a 3.8+ GPA and virtually never have a missing or late assignment.  I come from a great family with a Christian upbringing and am active at volunteering at our local church.  My parents are very supportive of my athletics and have always been there for me to help with transportation, camps, equipment, encouragement and constructive criticism when needed.  I look forward to my high school years and helping return the Manitowoc Lincoln High Ships back to a source of pride for our community.
