It has always been a dream of mine to be a college athlete, especially a college football player. I have been playing contact football since 5th grade and always enjoyed it. Being the Quarterback you are expected to be the leader and I believe that I do that. I have always led by keeping everyone focused on the field before and during games and at practices.
I am very dedicated, I wake up at 5:10 nearly every morning in the summer and during the school year to go to my High School and weight lift/ workout. I will also do Quarterback footwork and other drills in the morning. I will also stay late during the school year to be at open gym's for any of my three sports, football, basketball, and baseball. I am very interested in sports, both playing and watching. I am very dedicated to playing as many games of any sport or watching as many games as I can. I have been told by coaches that I am very coachable and I am very respectful both on and off of the field or court.
In school I maintain a 4.0 GPA and I have not missed a day of school from 3rd-11th grade and have not had a missing assignment. I have great parents that are not afraid of helping me with transportation to camps and other sporting events. I also have a very athletic family, my oldest brother played Quarterback at Valparaiso University in Indiana, my second oldest brother played basketball at Concordia University of Chicago, and my third oldest brother is currently participating in Cross Country and Track and Field at Wartburg University in Iowa. I would be very excited to also become a college athlete.
