Gurtej Grewal '17 Recruiting Profile

    Hello coaches, my name is Gurtej Grewal. I am currently a junior at Milwaukee Riverside University High School.  Since my freshman year, my dream has to play college football, and hopefully move on to the next level. However, I know that football isn't a sure thing, and I make sure to do well in academics also. Since entering high school, I have managed to maintain a straight A, 4.0 cumulative GPA, while only taking honors and AP level courses. Both of my parents are teachers, and they have instilled in me great ethics, responsibility and a sense of pride in my work. As I stated before, my ultimate goal is to one day play professional football, but if that does not work out, then I would like to go into a career in finance, law or physical therapy.  

    I have played varsity football for two years. As a sophomore, I started 8 games at left tackle, and as a junior, I started 8 games as a defensive end, 2 as a center, and I also long snapped. I played junior varsity basketball as a freshman and sophomore, and played varsity for 3 games as a sophomore. Also as a sophomore, I was on junior varsity track and field, I threw shot put and ran long distance. My work ethic is second to none, and I give 110% in every single thing that I do.
