I've always had the dream of playing college football. From the moment I first touched the football field, a spark lit inside me. As I entered highschool, I started realizing that I could make playing college football a reality through hard work and training. I'm hardworking and dedicated to my job on the football team. I weight lift every day and then run to keep myself conditioned. For me, football isn't just a fall sport, it's a dedication that carries through every day of the year. I work on my technique and kick every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. I'm coachable and can tweak my technique if it needs to be tweaked. I'm in the top 15% of my class of 109 Kids. Currently I have a 3.59 GPA. As a sophomore I was the 1st team all conference kicker. I'm open to any colleges and opportunities that come my way.
I live in a small town of around 3,500 people so football is a community wide activity. As a sophomore, I realize that I still have a bunch of potential as a football player. I don't get as much practice time during practice so my kicking is mostly on my own time. In school I apply myself to my classes and get good grades. I'm a role model at school, not only as a athlete, but also as a student. I'm an Athleader. I'm a student-athlete so I realized in my freshman year that I had to do well in school to be a successful highschool and potential college athlete. I also play hockey so in addition to weight lifting, I play a high intensity sport. I have hockey practice three times a week and I also coach a younger time two times a week. In addition to sports and weightlifting and school, I also work at the ice rink. I manage my time and do it fairly well.
I enjoy the cold winters and hot summers, but I'm not too needy in terms of weather. I enjoy almost all sports spring summer fall and winter. I would like to go to a bigger campus, but I'm open to all options. My two majors that I am thinking about are engineering and business so a college that I'd want to go to would most likely have to teach one of those majors. I enjoy big cities and nightlife. I enjoy fishing, boating, jetskiing, and a lot of other outside activities. I'm a huge car junky. My favorite subjects in highschool are any math/science/history classes.
Family is a big part of me. My parents are extremely supportive and I'd do anything for them. I feel the same way for my teammates and coaching staff. I aspire to constantly be a role model for other kids and peers. I always want to be better, I don't settle for good enough. I push my teammates to be better in school, in sports, and just in their life.
