Connor Breunig '24 Recruiting Profile

I have played football for 10 years. Starting in 1st grade, when I was playing flag football. I firmly believe that football is the best sport there is. I think this because it is physically and mentally demanding. I enjoy the challenge of staying locked in for the whole game. I love competing and want to help win some games for a team in college. Ever since I was a kid, a goal of mine was to win a championship in football. I am on pace to be a 12-season athlete, and 10 of those years will be on varsity. I compete in football, basketball, and run track. I am a leader. I was captain of the basketball team this year, and we won the Badger West Conference. On the basketball team, my nickname is goldfish.  They call me this because I don think about the last play, and have next play mentally. I lead by example, and by my actions. I am a natural competitor, and I hate losing. It can be something as simple as playing basketball in the driveway against my brothers. I want to beat them. Family is very important to me, and I have always wanted to be like my older cousins who played college football.
