Michael Garbers '13 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Michael Garbers, a 5ft. 11in tall, 205lb. inside linebacker and fullback for the Slinger Owls. The summer before my Junior season I attended 6 football camps and 2 combines. Through all of my camps and combines my best 40yd. dash was 4.89, pro agility: 4.38. I posted these numbers as a 16 year old Junior with no formal training. Currently in an effort to improve my numbers and overall athleticism I train at NX Level gym and Don Bebee's House of Speed.
    As a Junior I started at fullback and inside linebacker for the varsity squad. I have played football for 6 years and will be entering my 7th season as a Senior this fall. One of my greatest desires is to play college football. I would provide the team with a coachable athlete, a hard worker, a leader, and an athlete wanting to make his game better each and every practice. I am open to any school that is an academic match for my degree.  My current goal is to obtain a business degree in either marketing or accounting.
    I would love to play in the NFL and I am willing to put forth the effort to achieve that goal.  I understand no matter what happens, I will need a strong education.  This will require commitment and hard work, and I am willing to dedicate myself to this end.
