Benjamin Watters '12 Recruiting Profile

http://www.hudl.com/athlete/315859/ben-watters My name is Ben Watters and I am a senior at Verona Area High School. Verona is a Division 1 high school in the competative Big Eight Conference.  Verona has been conference champs seven consecutive years.  Three straight in the Southern Badger, and most recently four straight in the Big Eight. 

In my 2010 football season I started at defensive tackle typically playing a three technique, but also played defensive end at a five, six or seven technique, and earned honorable mention all conference honors in a conference with two all-state defensive lineman.


During my senior season I was one of four captains on a team with over 30 seniors. I played all 13 games as we finished 12-1 and were one game away from the D1 state championship game. I was First Team All Big 8 Conference in a conference with two All State defensive lineman once again, and I recieved Honorable Mention All Area Large Schools honors.


I have always had the will and dedication to succeed and I plan on continuing to succeed as my football career progresses. I am a leader on and off the field and contribute to the team in more ways than just making plays.
