I am Jacob Ohnesorge and attend Waunakee High School. I am 6' 3" and 265lb athlete that loves the game of football. I love to workout, lift weights, and learn about football when not doing my academic studies. I am physically and mentally ready and prepared to succeed in sports and life. I have started for the Waunakee football team the past three seasons. My sophomore season the team was coming off a Division 2 State Championship season and was known throughout the State of Wisconsin as a football "powerhouse". I began the year playing Center on the team. I played Center for three games then switched to guard for the rest of the season because of a change in the personnel, but I moved back to center to when we changed to shotgun situations for my snapping ability. My team and I finished off our season undefeated and the Division 2 State Champions. My Junior year had me playing Center and leading the offensive line. I was the only returning offensive line starter from the 2009 's Championship D2 team. We finished off the season undefeated with our 3rd straight division 2 state championship. I was voted 1st team All-Conference, All Region, 1st team All-Area, and 1st team AP and WFCA All-State as a Junior Center. My team and I just finished off this season 12-1 and we were the runners up in the Division 2 State Championship Game. This year I was honored as Unanimus 1st team All-Conference, All, Region, 1st team All-Area, and AP and WFCA 1st team All-State as an Offensive Lineman for the second year.I was also voted the Offensive Lineman of the Year in the Badger North conference and I was a finalist for the Joe Thomas Award that goes t othe top offensive lineman in the state. In my three season here as a starter on the Waunakee football team I have had a 40-1 record and I have enjoyed every second of it. I strive to be the best. My goal is to play college football at the highest level and succeed in a major college. I'm determined to do whatever it takes to better myself as a person, student, and athlete. I am willing to travel outside the Midwest to find my dream of playing football and being a student athlete. You can find me in the weightroom every morning before school and in the summer trying to become a better athlete which fits into the game of football very well. I have many friends, a great family, love school and have a great personality.
