Erich Hulshizer '23 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

I am a Christian which influences me very much because I strive to be the best I can for God. My friends and family push me to be my absolute best and to turn negative situations into something positive. I became interested in football at a young age because I watched it all the time as a kid. Ever since then I have wanted to play at a high and competitive level. Things I have learned about myself while playing football is that size doesn’t matter as much as having heart. As long as I have heart and a work ethic I will be able to compete with the best. My academic goals for High School are to graduate with a 3.5 GPA or higher. For college I want to be able to excel in whatever I major I choose and in whatever classes I take. To be completely honest, I have not had to overcome any obstacles to get where I am at in life right now. I am a person though that will never back down from a challenge, so if there are any obstacles I know I will overcome them especially because God is on my side. Some unique characteristics and skills I possess are having a lot of heart, my work ethic, being coachable, being very aggressive on the field; I also am very understanding, I care for others, and I have a lot of integrity.
