Jared Mangus '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jared Mangus, I am in the class of 2024. In order to pursue my athletic passion, I make sacrifices like early morning training sessions and rigorous conditioning routines. These sacrifices have shaped my work ethic and determination to achieve excellence. My goal is to play collegiate football and to become the best player I can be and help my team win. This summer I have been working and trying to become a team captain on the team, I want to leave a good impression on the lower classmen. Showing up to team camps has increased our team chemistry which will reflect on the field. I always try to act as a role model for the lower classmen, I have witnessed their growth in confidence but also growth as a whole, which has reinforced my belief in the positive impact of mentorship and teamwork. Balancing academics and athletics has been a priority for me. By developing effective time management skills, I maintained a high GPA while excelling in my sport. This experience has taught me the value of discipline and determination in all aspects of life.
