Going into golf my freshmen year I didn't realize how important golf would be to me. Something that makes me different then most golfers with college aspirations is that I have only been playing since my freshmen year in high school. I feel that I have not fully unlocked my potential and have a huge upside. I decided after a year of playing that this was something I was serious about and something I wanted to do as I went to college. I am an extremely hard worker and am willing to do/change anything that the coaches ask me. I also play basketball so I work on muscles during that season that comes over into golf too. I would also characterize myself as an intense competitor that wants to win and be the best that I can be. One of my greatest attributes is to forget about the last shot and move on from there. As I have grown in the game of golf I have seen myself mature and be able to control my emotions. There is nothing I want more than an opportunity to reach my full potential as a golfer and be part of a successful team and program. I am looking for an opportunity to play the game that I love and receive a great education at the same time.
