Hello, my name is Jack Kline. I've always dreamed about playing college basketball ever since I could remember. I've been playing basketball since the first grade, but I really started to develop a love for the game in sixth grade. It was at that time that I set two personal goals for myself - that I would make my high school basketball team as a freshman and I would play collegiate level basketball. As it turns out, I did make my high school's Varsity team as a freshman (the only freshman on the team) and that year our team went on to win the Alabama Class 6A State Basketball Championship, for the first time in school history. My sophomore year, I started every game of the year and our team repeated as Alabama Class 6A State Basketball Champions. While back in sixth grade it seemed almost impossible to achieve these goals, as I have gotten older and my skills have developed, I now realize that this goal of mine to play college basketball is very achievable. I am a hard worker at everything I put my mind to - whether it's off-season training for basketball or my academics. I look forward to the next few years to see what God has in store for me regarding college and playing basketball at the next level.
