Carter Frego '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Carter Frego, I am a junior who attends Bayshore Christian School in Fairhope Alabama. Starting at a later age(13) I quickly developed a passion for the game. My God-given natural abilities and rapid progression of skills were recognized by coaches and gave me a chance to compete in AAU basketball, and eventually, lead me to be selected to represent the U.S.A in the United World Games. Growing up on a family farm, pitching watermelons, and hours of farm work in the hot Alabama sun helped me develop a strong work ethic that I've taken to the hardwood. I've developed good shooting and ball-handling skills but I believe my greatest asset is the willingness to improve my weaknesses. While not knowing yet what I want to study, my goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level. I've read that to whom much is given, much is expected, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be the best athlete, on and off the court.
