Jonathan Walden '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was in middle school and I have always loved watching the game. I play Guard for the Oakwood Academy Mustangs. Some of my best accomplishments to date are Regional All-Tournament, Mazda Athlete of the Week, All-Tournament Team, and Regional MVP. During the season I averaged 8 points, but going into the postseason my coaches and teammates helped put me in a position to impact the game more which resulted in me ending the season averaging 17 points. I love playing defense, and I am a coachable young man. I have a 2.9 GPA, I am eager to learn and excited to comprehend the game better. 

  I now play for a DSA (Dawg Sports Academy) Post-Graduate Prep, to further my recruiting process. 

  I feel like what makes me different from other recruits is my leadership on & off the court, and also the different way i can affect the game not only scoring wise but DEFENSIVELY. I just need the opportunity!
