Nick Farrow Futur...Personal Statement
I have been playing Basketball since I was 11 years old. When I first touched a Basketball I couldn’t keep my hands off of it, since then I’ve been dreaming of playing at the collegiate level. I am a team leader, with very Basketball IQ, I am very quick off the dribble, and I attack the basket with confidence and can see the open floor. I can get the the basket consistently or when needed. I am a very good man to man defender and can guard in the open court. I am a very good team player on and off the court. I am very coachable the first one on the court and last one off the court. I work my hardest all the time and learn never to give up. I bring controlled energy whenever I play, and believe that if you work hard there is something to be learned from any game win or lose.
Off the court school is very important. I have a high GPA and good study habits. I know without the grades there’s no Basketball. Grades are first. I am very active in the church. I also run track which help my speed and quickness on the court.
I want to attend a college that’s the best fit me on and off the court to strive for greatness. What I bring to any team is that I can be a 100% energy at all times, hard work on and off the court. I want to continue to make my parents proud of me and most of all believe that I can do anything if I work hard.

- Nickalus is a heady lead guard who uses an advanced feel for his defender to guide a well-rounded game. A consistent scorer, he finds balance between deliberate decision making and a deceptively aggressive mindset. His change of pace keeps the defense guessing, and his improvement as a playmaker has increased his overall effectiveness for his teams. Full of confidence, Nickalus displays an accurate midrange game with growing range. His ability to create the proper angles allows him to capitalize on his tremendous craftiness around the basket. A quick young guard with a good first step off the dribble. He has the ability to push the ball up the floor and make plays, and plays hard on defense. He has the ability to get to the basket and finish, but can hit the jump shot as well. He needs to work on being a vocal leader, and look to develop the floater more.
