My name is Alijah Hicks , I have excellent ball handling and shooting skills, I take feedback and direction from my coaches very well. I have always put a high standard on my academics, while pursing and excelling at my passion for basketball. I have a very strong passion for basketball playing college basketball is my dream. I strive to be a leader on and off the court by maintaining good grades and relationship with others. I am consistently working to improve my skills, even outside of team practice by either playing pick up games, lifting weights or practicing drills by my self. I have a good sense of humor with my friends but on the court I have a competitive edge and push myself and my teammates to be the best we can be. I been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. Since I first stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I have strong ball handling skills ,soft hands and high basketball IQ . I am a team leader and try to lead by examples while also trying encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working player for any team I am a part of. Off the court I study hard while keeping a 3.2 GPA. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope I make my family proud and become a role model to my peers.
