Grant Nickelson '27 Recruiting Profile

As a young child, I always had some type of sports ball in my hand. Whether it was a basketball or baseball. Growing up, I loved watching NBA players such as LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Russell Westbrook. Watching them made me fall in love with the sport. I soon found out that i’ve never enjoyed something this much. I quickly became determined to be the best basketball player I could. Basketball is life for me, and I want nothing else but to play in the collegic level.  I posses hard work, good consistent shooting, and good playmaking skills, as well as lock down defense. I also keep my grades very high having mostly all A’s. Education is very important for me as well.  I believe that I standout for multiple reasons. Mainly though, my love for the game. I feel exilerated anytime I step on a court. Everything goes away and it’s just you and an amazing orange ball. I will bring hustle, as well as consistent scoring on your team.
