The tenacity of the fight, the unwillingness to surrender and to apply yourself to the best of your abilities to play selflessly as a team member are all valuable lessons that can be applied to the greater more important game known as life. You work hard, dedicate yourself to your team and collectively you are much stronger as a team than the sum of individual parts. Hard work is not just something you do; it is a way of living. Hard work, dedication, and proper guidance are paramount to personal success on and off the court. I am the leader, the role model, and the metronome for my high school basketball team. Talking it up is easy but action is what makes the difference between a competitor and a champion. I am a young basketball player. My skills have the potential to be great. I am enthusiastic to take all of the steps necessary to improve my game and prepare myself for the next level. That way, in the end, I will have no regrets.
