I've been playing basketball since I was 4 years old. I have played many sports in my life but have found basketball to be my favorite. I love basketball so much because it offers a lot more opportunities to play the game, such as at a public court or open gym. To me, basketball is one of those sports where I look forward to practice because the game is fun. I plan to pursue college basketball to further increase my skill, and to be apart of the game at a higher level. In my high school career, I was a bench player my freshman year, 2nd string center my sophomore year, starting center my junior year, and starting power forward/center my senior year as well as a team captain. Even though I participate in three sports every year, I have always made basketball my priority, attending out of season practices/open gyms, and basketball camps despite playing other sports alongside.
