Bryce Meldrum '22 Recruiting Profile

I am the starting point guard for the varsity Lincoln Preparatory Academy Basketball team. I started playing sports when I was five years old and found my love for basketball when I was ten. I bring energy to every practice, game, and workout. I’m not afraid to be vocal and help my teammates be as successful as possible; whether it’s where to look on the court, tell them what spot to be in, or help them when they are struggling with a play or drill. When I am in a game it is very challenging for me to become disturbed by the defense whether that is ball pressure, man/zone press, or a loud crowd. I prefer to drive when I have the ball but I am not afraid to shoot the three or pull up for a mid-range. Unlike most high school players when facing a challenging game I am able to stay calm and play at my pace and the opposing teams pace.
