My name is Noah Gifft and I am entering my Junior year at Ironwood High School in Glendale, Arizona. I am a 6’1, 173lb shooting guard. My first year on Varsity I was named All-Region Honorable Mention and All-Academic Boys 1st team. It is my unique leadership approach that encourages others to play to their fullest potential while creating bonds that strengthen one another. My enthusiasm is contagious both on and off the court. As a gifted shooter with a high basketball IQ, it is my passion for the game, focus and constant hard work that makes me the player whose game is always evolving. I play hard on defense, and I am able to get in good help side to take charges. I was 8th in my conference in 3pt field goals made this year and shot 35% from 3. I take pride in performing the role I have been afforded and play with the mindset of getting better each day.
In addition to being a student athlete, my academic success reveals how much I value education. I have 3.9 GPA and have challenged myself by taking the most challenging courses my school has to offer. I am an International Baccalaureate student, currently enrolled in both honors and dual enrollment courses. I have excelled in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, and Biology. As a STEM student recipient of the “Gifted Coder Award” from Silicon Valley’s ID Tech, I have certifications in multiple coding software programs such as C++, Python, JavaScript, and Artificial Intelligence to name a few. Coupled with AAU Basketball and training, I spend my summers participating with the Alpha Phi Alpha Youth Leadership Organization performing community service and taking courses through Arizona State University Fulton School of Engineering Program.
