I am a 2 year starter and captain on the Varsity basketball team at Desert Mountain High School. I have been playing basketball since I was 4 years old and my goal is to continue to play for as long as I am fortunate. Being a leader is an important thing in all aspects of life. I have always held a leadership role throughout my basketball career, however I was very shy on the court. I have outgrown my shyness and now strive to be superior every day, not only as a basketball player but in the classroom and in my personal life. Whether that’s being the most talented or just working extra hard to compete, my goal is to lead. My parents have always worked very hard to provide adequately for our family which is where my work ethics come from. Watching my ambitious dad go to work seven days a week and manifest success for it, rubbed off on me. Watching my parents raise three of my cousins because their parents weren’t around, instilled a hunger in me to want to thrive in society and become fruitful. I am eager and yearn for the opportunity to dedicate myself to a college basketball family that will create a win, win situation for us both. I am a dedicated, self-starter with a great IQ of the game. I have always been told that I am a coach’s dream because I am passionate about making everyone on my team successful! I am undefeated in following instructions and doing whatever it takes to win on the court and in life.
