Jason Ernest-Mpi '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jason Ernest some facts about me is  I am a 15 year old 6’7 Forward basketball player who attends and plays varsity basketball for Paradise honors(AZ), I am in the class of 2022. If my age to grade seems odd it is because I started school very early and was raised in Nigeria for the first 6 years of my life and upon coming here entered a grade earlier because of this I will be graduating 20 days after turning 17. I have been playing basketball for upwards of 4 years since my 7th grade year I entered high school as a 5’7 13 year old center and after hours on hours of training and growing I am now a 6’7 Forward going into his junior year with collegiate basketball hopes.

    I am looking for a school that will challenge me both mentally and physically and for one that will not just push me to be better at the game, but will also guide me as I continue to learn, grow, and strive to become the best man I can be.  I take pride and love school and am currently enrolled in honors and AB classes and on the path of NCAA Eligibility. As far as basketball i am a 6'7  Athletic wing that can shoot it and score on all 3 levels that  loves the defensive end of the court and prides himself on guarding the other teams best player 1-5 and stopping them from scoring. I believe I bring being athleticism, energy, shooting, and a winning mentality along with many more. I have been told by many coaches I am a very unique player due to my extremely young age for grade and me being 15 and 6’7  and I’m looking for a coach willing to take a chance and I promise you I won’t disappoint.With the athletic and academic attributes that I possess, I know I have what it takes to become a strong and stable figure in a great program.
