Personal Statement
My name is Jesse Coy, I am a 6'4" shooting guard and small forward from Abbotsford, BC Canada and will graduate in the 2012 class. I have played 4 years of club basketball and 2 years as a varsity starter. This last season i have received 7 Player of the Game awards, 1 MVP, 1 First team All-star and 1Second team All-star.
I realize I have started this recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue playing competitive athletics and am open to explore opportunities at all divisions. I am looking for a college where I can obtain a degree in Criminal justice/Law enforcement. Although I live in Canada, I am open to exploring schools in the United States. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have high need. I would be willing to travel farther to a school with less out of pocket expense. My coaches have described me as a good listener and quick learner.
