PERSONAL STATEMENT
I’ve been a part of the game of basketball for as long as I can remember. Much of my game is because of my older brother, Andrew, who is four years older than me and did club ball growing up. It all started with going to his club games and getting shots up at halftime which entertained the fans. In kindergarten, I joined my first team, YMCA summer league. I did not know this at the time, but I had the good fortune of being coached by a former college player who was college teammates with Mike Budenholzer. At a young age, I played against my older brother one on one in the driveway. He taught me a lot of offensive moves to be a bucket getter, but also how to be an unselfish player, a willing passer, having great court vision like Lonzo, which makes the whole team better. Over the years as I got older I would get to play in pick up games with my older brother and sometimes even get invited to play on his club team’s practice squad. I pretty much played up my whole life. This helped my game. I started out playing NJB and YMCA and skills training in the 2nd grade up to 4th grade. Then in the 5th grade I began doing AAU travel ball and skills training year round up to the present. From all these experiences and interactions with various coaches and trainers, I developed a true love and passion for the game. I also learned the value of hard work and individual daily practice and devotion from key figures such as Will King, Kobe Bryant, Devin Williams, Jordan McCabe, Paul Fabritz, Antione Smith, JoJo Ballestero, Anthony Ballestero, Shea Frazee, Kenroy Jarrett, Nate Harrison, and Rick Warren. So I forge ahead every day with countless hours of ball handling drills, conditioning, and getting shots up with my dad to reach my goals. After my career one day as a professional basketball player, I plan to go into International business and or law.
