Sankarshan Guttalu '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Sankarshan. I love playing and competing in basketball. I eat, sleep, breathe basketball. What makes me a good candidate for your team is I am willing to outwork everyone, there is no place I would rather be then in the gym working on my craft and getting better. As a 6-year-old, I was born to play basketball and I love everything about the game there is nothing like it.  Everything from the smell when you walk in the gym, to the sound of the ball when it bounces on the hardwood floor, the ball swishing through the net, to the shoes squeaking on the floor when you make sharp turns, the competition. I have spent hours upon hours on this sport wanting to get better and better, and I love every second of it. Basketball also helped me become a better person, by giving life lessons on communication, attention to detail, empathy, and compassion. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play great basketball so I can help my team win, and also do great in school, get a doctoral degree for Business and management.
