Jonathan Johnson '17 Recruiting Profile

Loyalty, integrity, and passion are three attributes that I relentlessly utilize to maximize my potential in all that I put an effort towards. These characteristics have impacted my life for the better and have caused me to come to a realization that with enough work, anything is attainable. My immediate goals are to prolong my student-athletic career as a contributing factor to a college program and to continue my growth in academic excellence. I aspire to be a part of a program which will allow me to struggle, battle for, and then strive towards greatness.  I am a good candidate for teams at the collegiate level because I am not afraid of the pain, sweat, blood,  that comes from hard-work. In addition, I have a will to win that allows me to perform tasks such as rebounding, or doing the little things needed to win.   I believe that I am a leader vocally as well as by my actions.  Whether on the court or in my future college community, I intend to lead selflessly in everything that I do.

Academically, I hold myself to a standard of excellence and I refuse to fail myself in this or any area. Throughout my 3 years as a high school student, I have been able to maintain a overall GPA of 3.84 . I believe that I am a good candidate for colleges because I have continuously prepared myself mentally and physically since I made the decision to become the best man I could be.
