This year we were league champs. Im motivated to be the best player I can be and any coach that looks into recruiting me should know that Ill work my butt of because of my passion and drive for the game.

Hello! My name is Stephen Schaefer and I am an aspiring college basketball player. I am a proud part of the Chico High Panther basketball team in Chico, California.  As a sophomore, I received All League HM, averaging 12 ppg and 8rpg in the most competitive basketball league from Sacramento to the Oregon Border. I am an all around player, I can play inside and outside, and I am comfortable playing in transition. I have learned a tremendous amount this year, and I can't wait to keep improving my skills and becoming a leader for my team. In the Spring, I play for the Chico Flight and GT Sports AAU basketball teams. We travel to Sacramento, Reno, Oregon and the Bay Area to compete in high level tournaments.  In the classroom, I am a dedicated student, achieving a 3.8+  weighted GPA in rigorous classes, including honors and AP courses.  I believe that being a student is just as important as being an athlete, if not more important. My goals for the upcoming season includes becoming physically stronger,  working on my three pointer, and improving my ball handling skills.
