Picture a normal, outgoing and active kid. A kid always looking forward to what type of fun is coming up with his best friend next-door. Going in the backyard to shoot some hoops, then jumping in the pool and swimming, after that going to our videogames, and out on the skateboards and bikes. This kid loved playing sports, especially basketball, and was born with athletic talent, and wanted that “basketball dream”. You know, playing for a college in front of thousands of fellow students, and then being picked up by a professional NBA team to be looked up upon by the nation. This kid had a passion for the game of basketball, outside playing everyday, and suddenly, the world turned on him. The healthy kid got diagnosed with seizure disorder and heart arrhythmia out of the blue. This shattered the fragile love for basketball that the young boy had. With the pharmaceutical medicine the doctor prescribed, the kid would have to give up any dreams of basketball he had, and just give up any physical activity in general. The choice was there: take the pharmaceutical medicine and give up on everything, or don’t take it, but be at a huge risk playing sports. The kid didn’t want to give up, so he decided to enjoy what he could do, until he was forced to take the medicine. When he would play basketball, he knew he was at a big risk, but thankfully, he never had a seizure during a basketball game. He had a few before practice where his dad would just tell the coach he wasn’t going to make it today, and even had a seizure in a practice, in which he did some damage to his eye socket. At a point, he thought maybe he should just give it all up, since it was too much stress and pain on him and scared his parents straight. He prayed and asked God for help, which led him to discover something that would be a great help to him. This would be able to keep him in sports and keep his dreams running. Cannabis. This was a huge savior of his love and dreams, to know that he can go back to playing without the harsh side effects of the pharmaceutical medicine, and now using a safe, unharming extract of a plant proven to make a huge difference without any side effects, or harm. Now, that kid is back on the court, planning to extend his testimony into college, and further stretch his legacy. His name is Caleb Muro, and he believes that nothing can stand in his way with God on his side.
