Growing up, my parents have always persuaded me to attend college. I have always wanted to attend college and to hopefully become successful in the future. Once I entered high school, my first decision was to join the dance team, as I have been dancing since I was young, but my passion fell off once I was being treated unfairly by the members on the team and was being bullied. When I decided to leave the team, I searched for other activities and came across cross country. I gave it a try and found that I had a passion for it. I find running as an outlet from stress and personal problems. I am strong on academics. My past 2 years and high school, I have maintained nothing less than a 3.7 GPA. My grades have led me to many opportunities such as becoming a teacher at my local tutoring center, being invited to be a part of the National Honors Society and to be awarded multiple Principal Honors Awards. I hope to one day be able to carry my accomplishments onto a college campus one day, and to push myself even further on a more advanced level.
