Nicholas Gee '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing basketball at the age of 5 and it’s been my passion ever since.  I consider myself very coachable, due to the fact that throughout my basketball career, I have trained with many different style coaches.  It has been my goal for many years to attend a college that is the best match for me, both academically and athletically. 

My style of play is either being the ball handler for a pick and roll (or pop) and being able to finish at the rim or kicking it for a three or dumping it off to the big.  I believe my highlights will show you this.  I like being the playmaker that makes everyone look good and who everyone wants to play with.  On the defensive side, I love being the primary defender.  I'm often assigned to their best ball handler.  It's a great feeling when you shut down their best player.  MY defense clip showed two games where I shut down two prospective D1 players.  Whatever I need to do to get my team the win, I'll do it and that's even taking a charge.  I've played for five different AAU basketball teams and my high school team.  Due to COVID, I have already adapted to traveling for AAU tournaments or camps and doing my school work in hotels, or on the road etc. 

I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the work ethic, communication and leadership skills to make an impact on your program. I am looking for a place where I can share my knowledge
