Nathan Cortez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nathan Cortez, I currently attend Grand Terrace High School. I am a senior  class of 2022, I play point guard and shooting guard
I am 5'11 and 165 lbs , I was on varsity / JV in 9th grade and last year I was in varsity started most games while keeping my GPA over 3.9 . I live in Grand Terrace and attend Sandals church.  My dream is to play college basketball  and  believe I can bring a lot of good to the team if given the chance.

One of my biggest strength as a basketball player is to win as a team and get all my teammates involved , I work everyday on my skills and ball handling. I also work on the mental part of the game for example quick decisions, taking advantage  of mismatches and reading defenses.  I am willing to rebound, play defense and do all the little things to help the team.

My expectation for college is to grow as a person and  learn from all areas faith, academic and sports, to prepare to be a good producing adult and be able to help others. To be able to play college basketball would be a dream come true.
